Do you parent* a dog on your own? Be part of my winter zine project!
It’s a thing, isn’t it? Being responsible for this whole other hairy, hungry, deeply intelligent bundle of other-species life? Kinda like parenting – but without the social backup. The way it changes everything. The way you love them. The way you understand each other like nobody else ever could. Training – or not. Chewing. Shit. Vanishing acts. Constant apologising to strangers. Embarrassment. Pride. Snuggles like no others. The tears and frustration, the lonely moments you truly wish you hadn’t done it. The moments your dog saves you from despair with a kiss or a cheeky grin.
Yep, being a solo dog mom is a thing. And I want to collect our stories (and cute photos), get a conversation going, and recognise and celebrate the trials and tribulations of being a solo dog person. Cos we might be doing this alone… but we’re in really good company.
If you relate, fill in the form below and tell us alllll about it!
Can’t wait to hear from you and your pup 🙂

* Or however you define it – “parent” is def not everybody’s word!
